\nImportant Notice: Update of the WIRES-X PC Software (V1.50)

\nDear Valued WiRES-X Node Owners;
\n
\nThank you for your patronage of the YAESU WiRES-X.
\n
\nPlease be informed that the latest WiRES-X PC Software (V1.50) along with a\nfirmware update for the FT2DR\/E has been released on our official website.
\n
\nThis update will enable the FT2DR\/E to work as a WiRES-X Portable Node Station\nwith the following firmware updates.
\n

\nEven if you do not intend to set up a Portable Digital Node, it is strongly\nrecommended that you update your WiRES-X PC software to the latest version\n(V1.50) because the latest version (V1.50) completely supports the\ncompatibility of all features between the nodes with HRI-200 and the new\nportable digital nodes established with the FT2DR\/E.*
\n
\nThe WiRES-X PC Software (V1.50) also include the following new features:
\n
\n\u30fb- Sub-code Function: When selecting DG-ID \u201800\u2019 in the\nWiRES-X software (under the transceiver settings) you can select a Sub-code\nfrom \u201c00\u201d to \u201c26\u201d. When the DG-ID and sub-code are set to \u201c00,\u201d the node relays\nC4FM digital signals of all DG-ID numbers. When a sub-code is set with a value\nof \u201c01\u201d – \u201c26,\u201d the node relays C4FM digital signals with the sub-code that is\nmatched. This will allow multiple open nodes (DG-ID \u201800\u2019) to work within the same\ncommunication range; this function is useful to avoid interference between\nnodes.
\n\u30fb- Digital Only Room: A Digital Room can be set up if\ndesired with the WiRES-X PC SoftwareV1.50 (Note: The HRI-200 is needed in order\nto create a room.)
\n
\n
\n*Note:
\nTo set up a Portable Node Station with the FT2DR\/E, the SCU-39 WiRES-X\nconnection cable kit accessory is required.
\nThe SCU-39 will be shortly available at the dealers\u2019 stores. For any further\ndetails, please contact the dealers near your location.
\n
\nWith the new Portable Digital Node Function, users can gain access to WiRES-X\nNetwork directly by using the USB connected FT2DR\/E with the radios PTT and\nmicrophone. The need to have an additional radio to talk to a node radio is no\nlonger needed in order to enjoy the WiRES-X Network. The USB connected FT2DR\/E\ncan also function as an Access Point for RF communication.
\n
\nFour (4) different types of operation modes are available.
